Raf Simons for Jil Sander A/W 06-07 Donna

In the morning, I woke up so early, took a trams to the venue, Via Ventura. Quite disappointing, to be honest. Nothing made me feel like I'm being in the premier show of Milano Uomo Moda, neither the debut of Raf Simons for Jil Sander, nothing's special. Anyway, The key of an A/W 06-07 collection is Classic-Avantgarde. Raf combined a look of his own brand with Sander's signature. The result was nothing but the look of minimal 80's. He managed a new silhoutte of a brand to new proportion, and also the honor of Mrs. Sander's sober and minimal, intriguing techno-fabric. A silhouette's looked like a public toilet sign; Boxy top, broaded shoulders and lean bottom. He put on same shoes, same pants through every looks...and unfortunately, no accessories, no bag, no hat, nothing. The show began with the day-wear set, in Raf's shades of grey, followed by the mushroom-tan leather jacket and black double-dart jacket and suits for finale. You couldn't wear a monograph for this collection, just one single piece of nice buttonless-cardigan,stayed in place as if it did have, and keyhole-line-neck sweater (knitwears are so impressive), paired with lean pants or washed bootcut jeans...that's perfect. By the way, why there ain't no tie in this col.???
