Grey A/W 06-07

In the sunny day of Bangkok March, Grey decided to set their own camp in the outdoor. Since the temperature was almost 38 degree Celsius, you could see the fashion people in a new way. Unlike the runway-capitals liked Milan or Paris, which all editors and buyers're dressing in dull trench, the fashionistes of Bangkok created their own way of tropical interpreting. You would see a young entrepreneur wearing cargo-shorts from flea market, carrying yellow Goyard sac while an editor from leading fashion magazine chose bespoke white plain shirt with Prada denim. Everything is possible in Bangkok's fashion. As well as Grey, the niche line from the Greyhound empire, which the belief came from the music, street & grunge culture, and arts but Grey contrarily choose to claim themselves as the modern-ethnic-Asian. Followed the Independent-tribe-match and the folk-ghosts-story, Look like casted the children the refugee camp of UNICEF, Grey brought us to the Tatooine planet and a stylish capacities to reinterpret -donated clothes during the war cloud- in their own [Grey] style. Respected the global-macro-trend of wool and knitting, which going to be a key signature of Grey, I bet. The palette of oxide-dust colored us the summer more than a winter. This ALL WE NEED IS LOVE collection was truly need love, since I didn't see or feel any love from those children's eyes. It might because of the heat baked them to looked more aggressive than they should be. By the way, Kritsada, the head of Grey menswear carried the looks of good looking guy without a disgusting metrosexual touch, while Patree managed her women's balance of street and couture styling, without neglect the must-have items such as doublebreasted jackets, coats and the youth-looked uniforms. This would be a second big giant leap of Grey, which had a big impact from the international buyers last season....Hooray to Grey.
